3-star music-themed boutique hotel near l'Olympia hall in central Paris

Rooms & Decor

Hotel Du Triangle D'Or works with musicians like Rickie Lee Jones and Mc Solaar to design each floor's theme. Rooms have high-tech audio and video systems with an iPod dock and LCD TV, plus closets built to look like concert tour cases. Guests on the 2nd floor find a Tom drum used as a nightstand, while 3rd floor rooms use a Djembe drum for the same purpose.

Wellness & Relaxation

The hotel's wellness center includes a Turkish bath for guest use and a menu of optional massage treatments. Massage types offered are full body, back, neck, foot, and head massages. Couples massage and hand massage are also available.

Location & Access

Olympia music hall is a 3-minute walk from the hotel, the Louvre Museum is a 15-minute walk, and Champs-Elysées is also within walking distance. The Madeleine Metro station (lines 8, 12, 14) and Auber RER station (line A) are both under a 5-minute walk away. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores are under a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Services & Accessibility

The hotel offers a spa and wellness center, soundproof rooms, and facilities for disabled guests including wheelchair access and braille signage. Family rooms and connecting rooms are available, along with express check-in and luggage storage. The multilingual staff provides a 24-hour front desk and concierge service, with exceptional service highlighted by guests for staff members Fatima and Rasheed.

Dining & Breakfast

A buffet breakfast is served each morning with hot and cold options including eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, and good coffee. The breakfast staff, especially chef Saman, are noted for their helpfulness. Guests can also eat at nearby cafes such as Cafe de Olympia around the corner.

Highlights

Decor: Music-themed floors designed by Rickie Lee Jones and Mc Solaar

Tech: In-room audio and video systems with iPod dock

Wellness: Turkish bath and selected massage treatments

Location: 3-minute walk from Olympia music hall, 15-minute walk to Louvre

Connectivity: Connecting rooms and family rooms available

“The music-themed decor and artistic flair definitely set this place apart from typical hotels, and the location near the Olympia music hall and the Louvre Museum is hard to beat. While some rooms might feel a bit compact and breakfast is basic, I think its exceptional customer service and wellness facilities, including a Turkish bath, make it worthwhile for those seeking a charming boutique experience.”

Acceptable Location, Disappointing Room

soft mattress elevator malfunction

The location proved convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.

My room was quite small. The bed especially felt narrow. The mattress lacked support and was too soft for my liking (i tossed and turned). the elevator malfunctioned for hours. I had to walk up to the fifth floor. It wasn't ideal.

The staff spoke French and English, which I found helpful. The hotel's location was convenient near the Madeleine Metro station. The room was spacious. It was also clean.

The street was noisy at night. I recommend bringing earplugs. The room had carpet. I prefer hardwood. The bed seemed quite worn.
